  13. Web 2.0 allow companies to use social network to advertise their product and through the advertisement/video/images in social network, the range of targeted audience has widen allowing more people to know the product that company selling.

Politician used social network to gain popularity as well as to gain support from people to veto against some policies in parliament. People used social network speak up their mind about the current happening and political issue which allow politician/government to check the ground, understanding what are the response on certain issues.

Social network in web 2.0 has narrow the gap between people and redefine the
meaning of geographic distance. Over the years, the membership in social network increase exponentially, this allows huge increase in volume of communication and increased speed of communication making social network a great tool for mass communication.

  14. Web 2.0 is indeed now the easiest tool to connect everyone together even if they are of different countries.

Using web 2.0 as a Marketing tool is a brilliant idea because, people can upload pictures of the items they are selling and tag and link others to view it. As more and more people were tagged and linked to the pictures, people can get an idea of how the items look like and if they are interested, they can purchase the item easily online.

Using Web 2.0 as a Mass Communication tool allows everyone to communicate easily. Creation of Web 2.0 made it easy to communicate with one another. For example, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, MySpace. We can upload anything on these social networking sites and people who are friends or a follower of you on these sites, can view whatever you have posted, and slowly, it'll then spread to everyone. An example would be Obama. He have a twitter account, Facebook account and even YouTube channel. So whatever speech that he had said and anyone missed it can actually go to his YouTube channel to check it out. Similarly, through his Twitter and Facebook account, he can communicate with citizens or even people all over the world!

In conclusion, Web 2.0 is created to do useful things like Marketing, Mass Communication or even Leisure. No one should abuse the use of Web 2.0 and I hope that a more advance web would be created soon so that people can see the increasing advancements of technology
